Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are reportedly preparing for a return to Britain next month that could mark a significant step in repairing relations with the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to travel from the US with their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, between July 6 and July 10 for the "One Year To Go" Invictus events in Birmingham. According to insiders, King Charles has also invited the family to stay at a royal residence during the visit.

While the trip is centred on the Invictus Games, reports suggest efforts have been made behind the scenes to ensure any family reunion remains entirely private.

Royal commentator Alison Boshoff, who says she has sources within the Sussex camp, claimed any meeting between Harry, Meghan and the King would come with strict ground rules designed to avoid further public fallout.

Boshoff wrote that there would be “no cameras, no subsequent Instagram posts, no revelations in interviews afterwards,” describing the arrangements as part of a wider attempt to rebuild trust.

A well-placed source reportedly told her: “Charles has let him know that he is really looking forward to seeing his grandchildren. Harry is looking forward to the visit and to building bridges. That is what everyone wants.”

Although a film crew is expected to follow Harry and Meghan during official Invictus engagements, Boshoff, who was writing for the Daily Mail, claims private family time has been ruled out as a filming opportunity.
