One UK city will see the return of a government-funded programme as 13 boroughs received a share of nearly £500,000. The Summer Streets programme aims to fund outdoor dining, events, markets and cultural activities.
London will receive the funding for 15 projects as part of the Mayor’s “wider drive to support London’s hospitality and nightlife industries”. The Mayor of London website explained: “The return of Sadiq’s Summer Streets fund supports councils and hospitality businesses to deliver al fresco dining, family-friendly events and extended trading hours as Londoners and visitors enjoy the warmer months.” Four of these locations have received particularly large funding.

Rockets Might Be Falling Behind Amid NBA Free Agency News
Rockets Might Be Falling Behind Amid NBA Free Agency News
Houston needs to make big moves this offseason.Jed Katz|
In this story:
Houston RocketsNBA free agency is set to kick off tonight at 5 p.m. CT, opening the floodgates for player movement. But the headlines have already been making the rounds amid plenty of blockbuster trades finalized or nearing completion.
The Houston Rockets, in an uber-competitive Western Conference, are in the market to win as soon as possible with a 37-year-old Kevin Durant at the helm. They can't afford to fall behind in the 2027 title race, as every season counts in what could be his final chapter.
However, this summer could significantly alter how Houston in viewed in the NBA hierarchy.
Teams in the West have already begun making big-time moves to fix their weaknesses and move toward the top of the conference in an attempt to compete with the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs. It started with the Minnesota Timberwolves acquiring LaMelo Ball.
The Portland Trail Blazers are inching forward because although Ja Morant's value isn't significant, the former All-NBA point guard could revive his career after being traded to an up-and-coming playoff team.
And then there's the Golden State Warriors, who could make the ultimate jump if all goes according to plan. They're attempting to pull off two enormous transactions by signing LeBron James and trading for Anthony Davis.
Even if AD isn't a Warrior, Golden State could still walk away with a lineup of James, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Kristaps Porzingis and Jimmy Butler.
Even the Los Angeles Lakers, who eliminated the Rockets in the first round of this year's playoffs, still have the core of Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, along with the ability to bring in a big name due to a geographically lucrative market and cap space should James depart.
Let me be clear: Houston is still an elite team and should remain a firm playoff contender next season. However, the rest of the West is doing everything in its power to get better. It's not to say that the Rockets need to go start hunting, but outside of Marcus Smart, there aren't many legitimate pieces linked to the organization.
Houston could rely on the development of its young core next to Durant, as well as Fred VanVleet's return from injury.
But if the Timberwolves improve with Ball next to Anthony Edwards, the Trail Blazers develop with another All-Star addition, the Lakers attract a big name and the Warriors' offseason plan comes to fruition, how far behind do the Rockets fall?

Sara Foster Explains Why She’s Still Living With Ex Tommy Haas 2 Years After Split

Sara Foster and Tommy Haas are still living together nearly two years after their split.
“It’s such an interesting [thing],” Foster, 45, said during the Tuesday, June 30, episode of Kristin Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “I’m not dating. I mean, I’m sure he is.”
Foster explained that Haas, 48, is a Florida resident and is “always on the road” because of his career as a retired tennis player. He also isn’t the biggest fan of Los Angeles.
“His comfort level is being on the road,” Foster continued. “We have breakfast when he’s in town. We have breakfast and dinner with our kids every day. … It’s not for everybody.”

Sara Foster is not ready to share the details of her separation from longtime love Tommy Haas. Foster, 43, opened up her Instagram DMs for a fan Q&A on Wednesday, September 24, and received a message about her split from one bold follower. “You owe your longtime listeners a discussion about your separation,” the social […]News broke in August 2024 that Foster and Haas had split after nearly 20 years together. They never wed but are the parents of daughters Valentina, 15, and Josephine, 10.
“There’s something to be said about slowly transitioning,” Foster said. “Nothing crazy happened. I think you, kind of, grow differently.”
She added, “I remember, I feel like he looked at me once, and I was like, ‘Oh, he does not respect me anymore.’ Once you can see someone looking at you with a certain eye, you’re kind of like, ‘Oh, God.’”
Foster said there was a “collective shift” in their relationship, which eventually caused their split. Even though they’re not together romantically anymore, Foster doesn’t have a bad thing to say about her ex.
“This guy has got so much integrity. You will never meet anyone that has a bad thing to say about him,” she said. “He has real integrity. He’s not a social climber. He’s not a user. He likes who he likes, doesn’t care who you are. He really is a great guy.”
