President Donald Trump has alarmed medical experts as he allegedly requested a weight loss pill to deal with symptoms that can lead to heart failure. Trump's health has been a constant talking point for critics of his presidency and allies trying to see it through to the end.

The 47th President of the United States, 80, alarmed experts when a "compassionate use" request to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was submitted. The request was not only unusual but for the drug retatrutide and was to be used as treatment for sleep apnea and pulmonary hypertension. The latter can lead to heart failure.
