Cincinnati RedsThe Cincinnati Reds will once again have one of their top prospect on display during All-Star Week.
Reds No. 1 prospect Alfredo Duno has been named to the Futures Game roster for the second straight season. The game will be played on Sunday, July 12, at noon ET at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and will air on NBC.
The honor comes just days after Duno earned a promotion to Double-A Chattanooga, another significant step in what has been an impressive 2026 season for the 20-year-old catcher.
MLB Pipeline recently praised Duno's overall development, writing:
“More athletic than you might think when looking at his strong 6-foot-2 frame, Duno should be able to stick behind the plate, especially if he manages his body well so he can remain agile, and the Reds were happy with his offseason work in this regard. Combine that with his plus arm strength, hard work in all aspects of his game, including learning English, and he has the makings of a big league starting backstop.”
Duno has certainly backed up the hype this season. Across 65 games, he's slashing .260/.390/.512 with 29 extra-base hits while continuing to show the offensive upside that has made him one of the top catching prospects in baseball. He's also handled a heavy workload behind the plate, catching 55 games while serving as the designated hitter in the other 10. However, his defensive production is still way behind his offense.
Sal Stewart Makes History in Tuesday's Loss to Brewers

In Tuesday's loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, Sal Stewart hit a first inning home run to put the Reds on top 1-0. Stewart's 16th home run of the season continued his historic rookie campaign. Only Hall of Famer Frank Robinson has hit more home runs as a Reds rookie through the club's first 85 games, launching 20 in 1956.
Reds manager Terry Francona praised Stewart's ability to hit after the game.
“He’s just a really good hitter. He uses the whole field. A lot of times with young guys, they want to hit for power before they learn how to hit. He knows how to hit. And he’s strong enough and a good enough hitter that he gets rewarded when he goes the other way.”
The 22-year-old is slashing .257/.342/.467 with 35 extra-base hits and 11 stolen bases for the Reds this season.

England fans leave Wimbledon in their droves to watch Three Lions crunch World Cup tie
The All England Club has a long-standing policy to not play World Cup matches.

An exodus of England fans from Wimbledon left hundreds of seats empty at Centre Court as they ditched the tennis for the World Cup. A number of spectators inside Wimbledon’s main court could be seen watching England take on DR Congo on their phones as Barbora Krejčíková faced French Open champion Mirra Andreeva.
Lines for seats at courts across Wimbledon had subsided in the buildup to the Three Lions’ last 32 crunch tie in Atlanta, USA. A staff member said the queue for one court was “definitely shorter” about an hour before Thomas Tuchel's men kicked off, adding it usually went around the corner. The number of people basking in the sun on Henman Hill had also dissipated, it is claimed, while one of the main bars was said to be quiet.

The wait for Court 3 — featuring 19-year-old rising star Joao Fonseca — was also believed to be smaller than previous times.
Many queueing were Brazilian, hoping to catch a glimpse of their compatriot in action.
The line for the queue had earlier stretched past a number of courts, but by around 4pm, it was significantly smaller.
At a similar time, there was no queue for Court 12 and large groups of people could be seen leaving the grounds to watch the match nearby.
The All England Club has a football blackout in place across Wimbledon, including the players’ lounge.
However, Chief Executive Sally Bolton on Monday confirmed it would not “prevent” people from watching the action on their phones.
England fan Guy McQueen, who was wearing a Three Lions shirt, was tuned in on his phone inside the grounds just as DR Congo took a 1-0 lead.
He said: “We’d been watching tennis all day, so we felt it was fine just to take a little break.”
The 29-year-old said he believed Wimbledon’s football policy was “fair”, adding: “I was actually surprised, there’s not many people actually here wearing any football shirts.”
Nearby, fellow supporter Daryl Bleach, 41, gave a worrying omen. He said: “The last time I came here, we played Iceland in the Euros and we lost!”
Marek Maynard, 35, said he will “likely” watch on his phone during the tennis but said no football policy at Wimbledon had “split the crowd”.
Adam Porter, 25, who was on Henman Hill before the game kicked off, said he planned to watch on his phone.
He said: “I think they probably could [show the match], considering it’s a World Cup, it’s a tournament that happens once every four years.
“I probably think they could show it, even if it’s not on one of the main screens.”
The 2026 World Cup is the first to coincide with Wimbledon since the 2018 tournament held in Russia, when England reached the semi-finals.
Lakers NBA Free Agency Roundup: Walker Kessler trade headlines a busy day in L.A. — Here's what it means for fantasy basketball
Story by
The Lakers made a lot of noise on Wednesday in NBA Free Agency and the trade market, and fantasy basketball managers need to pay attention.
The big move was a sign-and-trade for Jazz center Walker Kessler, with Los Angeles sending two unprotected first-round picks and two pick swaps to Utah to land the 24-year-old, who then signed a four-year, $130 million extension to make it official.
AdvertisementAdvertisementFrom a real-life standpoint, the money is fine ($32.5M annually), but the draft capital that came with it was a gross overpay. After bringing in Kessler, the Lakers have invested $475 million in Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves and Kessler, with no tradable picks for seven years. Sheesh! But, from a fantasy standpoint, this is a very good move. Let's talk about it.
Walker Kessler
Kessler only appeared in five games last season due to injury. But I think that's an outlier — not the norm. He's been at or near 60 games played in every other season of his NBA career, and the $130 million guarantee tells you everything you need to know about his minutes expectations. You don't pay someone that kind of money to not play over 30-plus minutes a night.
AdvertisementAdvertisementPlaying alongside Dončić significantly elevates his ceiling. The good thing about Kessler is that he's a beast defensively. He works hard, has shown improvement over the past few seasons offensively and the Lakers needed someone to fortify their frontcourt; he's the opposite of Deandre Ayton (a good thing). And Luka's playmaking will create easy looks for Kessler around the rim. His rim protection and rebounding don't require touches to be impactful. He's a legitimate top-50 fantasy target — possibly higher. I love this move for his fantasy value. But those picks man … Rob Pelinka's trippin'.

Sandro Mamukelashvili, Quentin Grimes and Collin Sexton
The Lakers' roster construction isn't fully settled yet. However, Pelinka's Wednesday spending spree didn't afford them too much flexibility in bringing in anyone else beyond a veteran minimum. So, if there are no additional trades, Mamu and Grimes could join the starting unit. Mamukelashvili is the most intriguing of the bunch — he's a versatile big who can stretch the floor and did solid work in a bench role in Toronto. He was a solid streamer who, with an expanded starting role, could be worth a late-round flier. Grimes having to play third wheel with Luka and Reaves isn't ideal, and his fantasy value would probably be higher in a reserve role where he's playing with one of Luka and Reaves rather than both.
AdvertisementAdvertisementSexton is a known scoring option off the bench but profiles similarly — a streaming option at best in most formats should an injury occur.
The honest answer here is that, from a real-life standpoint, the Lakers spent a lot of money to be so light on perimeter defense and frontcourt depth — especially at PF. As it stands, Mamukelashvili is on my watchlist as the most likely sleeper of the group, but Kessler is by far the biggest winner here.
