Prince William and Kate Middleton Won’t Attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding: Report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is the event of the summer, but Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton apparently won’t be among the guests in attendance.
Despite speculation about the royal couple possibly traveling from England to the United States for the upcoming nuptials, People reported on Tuesday, June 30, that William and Kate, both 44, will not be at the ceremony.
Us Weekly has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.
The Prince of Wales initially sparked interest as to whether he and Kate were on the coveted wedding guest list in May when he played coy about Swift, 36, and Kelce’s highly-anticipated nuptials.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are remaining tight-lipped when it comes to their highly-anticipated upcoming nuptials — but that hasn’t stopped, well, the world from grilling their nearest and dearest friends for any and all wedding details. Ever since Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating, the celebrity world […]When asked during an appearance on Heart Breakfast whether he’d received an invitation, William replied, “No comment.” He added a cheeky smile, which prompted the studio to break out into laughter.
“I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see,” the prince added, adding fuel to the speculation that he and the Princess of Wales could make a surprise appearance at the U.S. ceremony rumored to be taking place at Madison Square Garden.
While William didn’t reveal any more information, he noted that his daughter, Princess Charlotte, was “obsessed” with Swift. (William and Kate share Charlotte, 11, and sons Prince George and Prince Louis.)

Prince William truly had the best day at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. William, 42, attended the first Eras show at Wembley Stadium on Friday, June 21 with his children Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, from a private box. William even proved he was a “cool dad,” busting out a move […]Although William and Kate appear to be staying put across the pond over the 4th of July weekend — Swift and Kelce’s wedding is reportedly taking place on the holiday weekend — William’s friendship with the Grammy winner goes back more than a decade.
The future king of England met Swift in 2013 at the Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace, where the duo joined Jon Bon Jovi onstage for an impromptu rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
When William celebrated his 42nd birthday in June 2024, he decided to do so in style by attending Swift’s Eras Tour with George, 12, and Charlotte at Wembley Stadium in London.

After the show, William and his eldest children hung out with Swift and Kelce, 36, who was also in the crowd.
“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” Swift wrote via Instagram at the time, sharing a group selfie.
Although William and Swift’s friendship timeline won’t include her wedding, there are going to be plenty of A-listers supporting her when she says, “I do” with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
“I’m gonna go to Taylor’s wedding,” Suki Waterhouse told Variety in May, confirming she will be watching her longtime friend walk down the aisle.

A separate insider told Us that Swift and Kelce “really wanted their wedding in Rhode Island, and June 13 was the date, but security wouldn’t have worked because it could get out of hand with that kind of scale of an event.”
“Everything was being planned in Rhode Island,” the source added. “And so many people wanted to come that plans had to change because it became bigger.”

On Sunday, July 5, Vinícius Júnior’s Brazil will lock horns with Erling Haaland’s Norway in a blockbuster round of 16 World Cup match at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium.
If you’d like to be there to see these two top-notch clubs duel on the pitch live, tickets are available as of today.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $1,865 including fees on SeatGeek.
Prices start at $2,889 including fees for seats in the 100s.

As longtime fans may recall, this tantalizing round of 16 showdown won’t be the first time these squads have met in the World Cup.
Flash back to 1998 and you’ll be transported to Løvene’s shocking 2-1 victory over Canarinho in a group stage match before Brazil went on to the Final where they lost to France.
This time around, Vinícius Júnior, Bruno Guimarães and Gabriel Magalhães are the undisputed favorites against Haaland and co.
Still, if we’ve learned anything from the World Cup, it’s that anything can happen.
Norway is on a torrid four-game win streak and the team would love a chance to re-enact their surprising ’98 triumph.
Ahead of the match, midfielder Sander Berge said ” if the opportunity comes that we can play them in a knockout stage, that would be a dream coming true and a fantastic challenge, and a fantastic opportunity and experience.”
We’re expecting an instant classic in the Meadowlands.

We’ll see you there.
What’s the best way to get to MetLife Stadium for World Cup matches?
Although transit to the World Cup has undoubtedly been a hot topic, there are quite a few options to get to the Meadowlands for the games (rather than walk as some out-of-towners have suggested).
These are your best bets:
• Eat the $105 round-trip cost (slashed from a previously-announced $150) and take the NJT. Trains will be running back and forth to Secaucus Junction where you can transfer to the Meadowlands rail line, which takes you two minutes away from the Stadium.
• Board the official NYNJ Stadium Shuttle. Direct round-trip buses can be picked up at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, Midtown East in Manhattan, and the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine Park-and-Ride in New Jersey. Be aware that tickets must be secured in advance through the New Jersey Transit World Cup platform. The major downside here? Potential traffic. The major upside? The Post reported that “round-trip bus fares for fans attending the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been cut by 75%…from $80 to $20.”
• Risk everything and book an Uber or Lyft. There are drop-off and pick-up zones outside MetLife. The major detractor here are likely exorbitant surge pricing and wait times. Proceed with caution here!
