I think here for the Brooklyn Nets, Mikal Brown.

I, I think Brown could be an absolute stud.
It was a, it was an up and down year for him at Louisville this year.
He dealt with a back injury that actually dogged him going back to when he was in the Overtime Elite.
But 6'4", 6'8" wing span.
There is no more dynamic elite athlete at the guard position in this year's draft class.
The way he gets to the rim and finishes loudly.
He's had dunks with the right hand, with the left hand.
He can jump off e- either foot.
He's the type of guy that can pull up from mid-range, can pull up from three.

Sometimes he looks like Manu Ginbili to me.
I know it's sacrilegious to even bring up the name- Manu as a comparison.
But just the, the flair and the energy he plays with on both ends of the floor, I, I think Mikal Brown has a chance to be a steal in this year's draft class.
Yeah.
And for him to go to Brooklyn, I mean, hey, fill those seats.
Got a really fun player in Mikal.
I love that comp.
I have him in my notes as a smooth, fluid operator.
Like, that is how I saw him- Yeah, yeah throughout the course of this last season in college basketball.
Yeah.
And, and they need to make sure that they get a guy who can run the offense at a high level.
You got Julius Randle on the team now.
Who, who knows what happens with Julius Randle this season?
They moved Nick Claxton in the deal.
But they really do need an, an A-level operator at the point guard position, and they really believe in Mikal.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'll take it to the game when they played against NC State.
I mean, that 45-point performance, you talk about Keenan Wagler, what he did against Purdue.
Well, that performance against NC State- when Mikal Brown lit it up, that can go shot for shot.
That goes pound for pound with that performance.
But my question is, can he become a more efficient scorer?
AdvertisementAdvertisementOnly 41% from the field, 34 from behind the arc.
He needs to improve his efficiency, and I think sometimes that's due to him settling for jumpers, right?
When we look at his 100, his 270 field goals, 160 of them were threes.
I think sometimes he settles because he can get by guys, but he wants to first time, first and foremost, shoot that tre.
Off the pick and roll, off the isolation situation.
Yeah.
I think sometimes he settles a little too much.
Can he become more efficient, is the name of the game for him, because I think his upside is through the roof.
I do think he can be a star in this league if he can improve his efficiency and get better quality shots.
And watching Louisville play throughout college basketball season, they shot the three more as the season also went on.
Yeah, him and Maco.
So I'm wondering, too- Yeah.
May you like
My goodness.
And I'm wondering, too, if that was just the system that he was in- Yeah and not reflective of what he would normally play like at the next level
