Meghan and Harry will set huge 'trap' by UK return

Prince Harry is setting a "trap" for King Charles by bringing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK along with Meghan Markle, reports claim. Speculation continues to mount that King Charles could be reunited with the prince and princess after Harry and Meghan were offered royal accommodation for their upcoming UK visit.

But a source told the Mail that the Sussexes have an ulterior motive.

They told the publication: "I don’t think this will be a reunion. It’s more of a trap. It’s a challenge. They are saying: 'Try and ignore us when we are here with the kids'. If they don’t meet up [with Harry and Meghan], then they can say: 'We came to you and we were ignored'."

The same source claimed Harry and Meghan are bringing their children along to force the Palace's hand, "so they have to give him security or else they are endangering the children".

They added: "This is a huge new low as a tactic – and it is going to backfire."

Harry has faced a protracted legal battle with the Home Office over the security arrangements for him and his family when in the UK after his level of protection changed when he stepped down as a working royal in 2020.

Security concerns for his family have been cited by the Duke as a reason he could not bring them to the UK, but it appears his concerns have been allayed. But sources have stressed all matters of security are issues for the Home Office to decide and the King does not play a role in the process and has not made any private undertakings.

Carole Middleton's 'chic' pumps from Kate's go to brand are a summer must have

With summer event season in full swing, finding a pair of chic shoes that look elegant but won’t leave you regretting your life choices by lunchtime can feel like an impossible task. That’s why a recent outing from Carole Middleton caught my attention.

The Princess of Wales’s mother was spotted wearing a chic pair of Emmy London pumps at Royal Ascot last week, proving that comfortable occasionwear doesn’t have to compromise on style. Better still, the shoes come from a British label adored by both her daughter, Princess Catherine, and Zara Tindall, who have regularly stepped out in Emmy London’s timeless designs over the years.

And if you’re searching for a versatile heel that will work just as well for royal events, weddings and race days as it will for summer parties, these might just be the ultimate seasonal investment.

Real reason Prince William supports Princess Beatrice and Eugenie in Epstein scandal

Earlier this month marked a joyous event in the royal calendar as the family celebrated the union of Princess Anne's son, Peter Phillips, and Harriet Sperling. Prince William seemed to make a show of solidarity with his cousins as he warmly greeted them and kissed Princess Beatrice on the cheek, clearly making a distinction between his feelings for the sisters and their disgraced father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

The moment, though brief, was symbolic as the sisters continue to face scrutiny over their parents' alleged associations with the late paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said the greeting would have been a welcome relief for Beatrice and Eugenie, who may have been nervous to enter the spotlight.

Prince William's ‘frosty’ exchange with King Charles after Prince Harry return bombshell

Prince William had a “frosty exchange” with his father, the King, during last weekend’s Trooping the Colour festivities, over Prince Harry’s bombshell return to the UK, it has been claimed. Speculation has been growing after reports claimed the Duke of Sussex would be bringing his home family, including his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, back to the UK for the first time in four years next month.

The bombshell trip could pave the way for an emotional and long-overdue reunion between the monarch and his estranged American grandchildren. Harry and Meghan have reportedly been offered accommodation at a royal residence even though they have yet to reply. But now new reports claim the King’s olive branch may have turned his relationship with his heir, Prince William, sour.

Meghan Markle Netflix update issued after popular project ‘stuck in limbo’

Meghan Markle’s Netflix project is still going ahead, it has been revealed. In 2023, it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had acquired novelist Carley Fortune’s second fiction story, Meet Me at the Lake, to make it into a film.

This was reportedly in an eye-watering $2.9 million deal for a Netflix film adaptation. With Harry and Meghan now only having a first-look deal with Netflix, compared to the much bigger deal they had when they first quit royal life in 2020, it was unclear whether this film adaptation was still in the works. However, the novelist herself has now confirmed it.

King Charles dealt huge blow as support for the monarchy hits record low in 33 years

Support for the British monarchy had plunged to its lowest level in the last 33 years, a new poll has revealed. More than half of Britons (55%) want the country to be a monarchy; however, it’s the lowest percentage since polling on the royals began 33 years ago.

According to the latest Ipsos survey, the results highlight clear age differences: young people today are much less supportive of the monarchy than in the past. Public support for the monarchy was 69% when polling began in 1993. It peaked in 2012, when eight out of 10 Brits (80%) were in favour of a monarchy. Meanwhile, nearly three out of ten (27%) of those polled want a republic.

Fake name Prince William used to go unnoticed during university days

The Prince of Wales may be one of the most instantly recognisable men on the planet, but there were once extreme measures he'd go to in order to fly under the radar.

Prince William, who is celebrating his 44th birthday today, was a student at the University of St Andrews in Scotland from 2001 until 2005, the school where he famously met his future wife, the Princess of Wales. When he signed up, he originally intended to read History of Art, but soon changed his action and switched courses to geography.

At the time, it was agreed by the Palace and the media that the prince would be afforded complete media privacy during his studies so that he could be as normal as possible.

Prince Harry's former aide gives controversial response to question on Prince William

Prince Harry’s former aide has refused to comment on the “Harry issue” and has insisted he is “very fond” of the prince, as he gave an extremely rare interview. Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton was the full-time principal private secretary to Prince William and Prince Harry from 2005 until 2013.

This saw him spend much time with the brothers, with William being 22 when Lowther-Pinkerton started the role, and Harry being 20. During this time, he developed a close relationship with the princes, especially during their military careers. He has always said he is very fond of them both.

Prince George facing huge change ahead of first term at Eton College

Prince George looks set to face a major change as he prepares to join Eton College for the first time this September. The 12-year-old prince will join the prestigious college in Berkshire for the next academic year, following in the footsteps of his father, the Prince of Wales, and his uncle, the Duke of Sussex.

However, the entire college is in for a major shake-up, as the college is expected to announce its new Head Master within weeks. The school’s current Head Master, Simon Henderson, who acts as the chief executive and educational leader, took up the post in 2015 and recently announced he would leave the school next September. According to The Sunday Times, Alastair Chirnside, 50, the headmaster, or warden, at St. Edward's in Oxford, a co-ed school known as Teddies, is considered the frontrunner to replace Mr Henderson.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'disturbed' by Prince William move

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have allegedly been left “disturbed” by Prince William’s move regarding his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, it has been claimed. The daughters of disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have been keeping a low profile since their parents’ latest wave of humiliation regarding US convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. But earlier this month, they bravely showed up together in the Cotswolds for Peter Phillips’ wedding and were seen greeting other royals, including the Prince of Wales, who has been estranged from the Sussexes.

Now, insiders said this public sign of acceptance has reportedly upset the Montecito couple, who are said to have offered a helping hand to the princesses amid the ordeal, with a source telling Heat World: “Seeing them [Beatrice and Eugenie] quite literally kiss up to William after all the hours they’ve spent counselling them on how to handle this threat of eviction he’s been hanging over them was very disturbing for Harry and Meghan. Clearly the girls are doing all they can to save their own skins and unfortunately, that does make Meghan and Harry pretty uneasy. How can they trust them if they’re going to lay at William’s feet the moment that they get the chance?”

Princess Eugenie brutally snubs Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on Father's Day

Princess Eugenie marked Father's Day with a heartfelt tribute to husband Jack Brooksbank, sharing family photographs celebrating his role as a father to their two sons.

The royal posted two images on Instagram featuring Jack with August and Ernest. One photograph showed the trio walking together outdoors, with Jack holding the boys' hands as they strolled beside a green space.

A second image captured Jack keeping one of the children entertained during a wedding ceremony. Seated inside a church, he appeared to be playing with the youngster, who was surrounded by football-themed stickers and a colouring book.

Alongside the photographs, Eugenie praised her husband in a message to mark Father's Day.

Her own father, former-Prince Andrew, was notably absent from her post - and social media feed - in recent times.

Andrew bombshell as disgraced royal leaves country for lush holiday despite humiliation

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may have recently faced some of the worst few months of his life, but this has not stopped him from enjoying a holiday break in the sun. While Andrew, 65, is hardly seen in public in the UK these days, it turns out he was spotted on a recent getaway in France.

This getaway saw the former Duke of York enjoy a weekend break in rural Brittany with sportswear billionaire Mohammed A Baker. It is believed the former prince spent a few days at a rural farm close to St Malo in North-west France with the billionaire after flying on the billionaire’s private jet. The trip is believed to have taken place from May 30 to June 1.

Prince George compared to King Charles for unlikely reason

Prince George will attend the prestigious boarding school Eton College from September, it has been announced, following in the footsteps of both his father and uncle. The eldest son of the Princess and Prince of Wales has also been compared to his grandfather, King Charles. The young royal was pictured at the Trooping the Colour celebration on Sunday where his posture and hand-in-pocket stance has sparked comparisons to both King Charles and the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Held each year at Horse Guards Parade, Trooping the Colour is celebrates the Sovereign's official birthday. The event sees members of the Royal Family join a grand military parade through central Londo culminating in the iconic balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace.

Royal fans issue same complaint about Prince William's birthday photo

Royal fans were delighted they got a new picture of the Prince of Wales to mark his 44th birthday and Father’s Day on Sunday, but there was one complaint they had to make. Kensington Palace shared a new photograph of the heir to the throne with his daughter, Princess Charlotte, after Trooping the Colour

It was shared alongside the caption: “Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much. C, G, C & L” and an emoji of two pink hearts. The family were at the Trooping the Colour last weekend and the picture shared on social media was taken in the garden of Kensington Palace after the ceremony, with William in the scarlet dress uniform of the Welsh Guards, of which he is colonel, and Charlotte in a cream dress. But fans were disappointed that the picture did not include all of William’s children, as Prince George and Prince Louis were absent.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to meet King Charles during UK return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will meet King Charles when they return to the UK next month, according to reports. It comes after questions were asked about whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would have the opportunity to meet the monarch.

The Sun claims there is “an agreement” that the monarch will meet Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, whom he has not seen in person since they last visited the UK in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. It is not yet known if Meghan will join Harry, Archie and Lilibet in meeting the King.

While a reunion appears to be set for the monarch and his youngest two grandchildren, a meeting with Harry's brother, Prince William, likely remains out of the question. The warring brothers are not thought to have spoken since the late Queen's funeral and have not been in the same room since they attended their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, in July 2024.

Prince William had a “frosty exchange” with his father, the King, during last weekend’s Trooping the Colour festivities, over Prince Harry’s bombshell return to the UK, it has been claimed.

The Mail on Sunday claimed that royal insiders said the King’s willingness to see Harry has sparked tensions with William, who wants nothing to do with his brother.
