America’s 250th birthday is coming up this weekend, and the semiquincentennial has spawned a massive spread of merch collections to celebrate the occasion. Unsurprisingly, one of the best 250th merch collections comes from arguably the most American company around: Major League Baseball.
Ahead of its Fourth of July and All-Star baseball games, MLB unveiled a sprawling collection of USA 250 hats, T-shirts, and jerseys, created in partnership with Nike. The collection allows fans to celebrate their favorite team and players while also commemorating one of the country’s most significant birthdays yet. Shop the entire MLB USA 250 merch collection here at MLBShop.com, and look out for the pieces on your favorite players’ backs during this Fourth of July weekend’s games.
The highlight of MLB’s USA 250 collection is its jerseys, which slightly tweak each team’s kit with patriotic patterns and details. Team scripts are the same across the chest, but players’ numbers on the front and back now feature a star-spangled graphic. On the sleeves are subtle “USA 250” patches. The USA 250 jerseys are offered as Stadium Jerseys ($199.99), Authentic Jerseys ($419.99), or Replica Jerseys ($134.99). Some sizes for star players have already sold out, so act fast if you’re looking to get one.
The collection also includes a wide range of hats and T-shirts. The T-shirts have quickly become best-sellers, featuring stars and stripes team logos centered on the chest, “1776–2026” below the logo, and a “USA 250” patch on the sleeve. The hats follow a similar format with stars and stripes logos and a patch on the temple.
The MLB USA 250 merch collection is part of the league’s massive 250 celebration rollout, which also includes a campaign with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, sweepstakes, and a large slate of holiday weekend games.
“Baseball has been part of the fabric of American life since the sport’s creation, bringing people together through shared traditions, unforgettable moments and the simple joy of spending time at the ballpark with family and friends,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Partnerships, in a release. “Baseball brings Americans together, so as the National Pastime, we are proud to celebrate this special anniversary and to provide even more opportunities for people nationwide to engage with our sport this year. By creating these special opportunities honoring the country’s founding, we hope more fans than ever will enjoy memorable moments with baseball.”

Story byMinnesota Twins minor leaguer Walker Jenkins stepped up before Tuesday's St. Paul Saints game in a way that had nothing to do with his top prospect status.
Jenkins, the No. 14 overall prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline, went viral on Wednesday via a video that showed him taking care of a young fan who collapsed while standing with the players during the national anthem.
AdvertisementAdvertisementJenkins noticed the fan wobbling and was soon carrying him off the field, eventually giving him to a staff member at the dugout.
The Saints, the Twins' Triple-A affiliate, confirmed Wednesday morning that the boy, named Lincoln, is doing well and has received some team merchandise.
After helping Lincoln, Jenkins proceeded to go 3-for-5 with a double, triple and three runs scored in a 12-6 win over the Buffalo Bisons. He was a home run shy of the cycle.
The Twins selected Jenkins fifth overall out of South Brunswick High School in North Carolina in the 2023 MLB Draft. He quickly developed into one of the best prospects in the minors, showcasing five-tool talent while playing well above his age at each level.

By Tony JonesJuly 1, 2026 8:39 pm EDT UpdatedThe Philadelphia 76ers have expressed interest in acquiring free agent forward LeBron James, a league source who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe ongoing deliberations told The Athletic.
On the heels of Wednesday night’s blockbuster trade for Jaylen Brown — which sent Paul George and multiple draft picks to the Boston Celtics — the Sixers have thrown their hat into the proverbial ring for the star forward, who became an unrestricted free agent after eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Philadelphia makes sense from a basketball perspective. The 76ers have enough scoring, depth and ballhandling at the top of the roster to allow James to ease into a role. And with James — or even without him — Philadelphia projects as a championship contender. The Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat are also considered among the frontrunners for James’ services.
James, 41, remains an All-Star-caliber player and one of the league’s most impactful talents. The 76ers were eliminated in the second round of last season’s playoffs by the New York Knicks, who went on to win the NBA championship.
