Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold will remain in jail until at least Monday following his arrest on an array of felony charges that include kidnapping and armed robbery.

Hillsborough County Court judge J. Logan Murphy ruled Wednesday that Arnold will be held without bond until a pre-trial detention hearing in four days. Arnold's attorney, R. Timothy Jansen, told the judge his client is "absolutely denying these allegations."

Arnold, whom records show is currently being held at Falkenburg Road Jail in Brandon, Florida, appeared in court virtually while wearing an anti-suicide smock. Prosecution has said it will request that he remain behind bars until the trial.

The full list of charges Arnold faces is three counts of armed robbery, three counts of kidnapping, one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping. The kidnapping charges alone carry a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Murphy said he denied Arnold bond because he was arrested for six "dangerous crimes."

Tampa police have accused Arnold of being "the primary conspirator" among a group of six other defendants, two of whom were said during the hearing to have reached a plea deal with prosecution. Jansen requested a copy of those appeals from the judge and was denied.
