Juan Soto's feud with Mets teammate revealed by owner in wild move

Under fire New York Mets owner Steve Cohen has made the remarkable move of confirming that there was a feud between $765million star Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor last season.

The Mets brought Soto to Queens in 2024 by offering him the largest contract in the history of sports after he left city rivals New York Yankees to enter free agency. But after lighting it up in the Bronx and reaching the World Series, his time with the Mets has so far been a disaster.

They have one of the worst records in baseball so far in 2026 on 36-51 after Wednesday's loss to Toronto Blue Jays, recently firing manager Carlos Mendoza. And last year, while things weren't as bad as they are now, they failed to make the playoffs after breaking the bank to land Soto.

Now, it has become a little bit clearer as to why after Cohen's extraordinary comments to the New York Post.
