Jodi Arias Sells Patriotic Art for America’s 250th Despite Government’s Alleged ‘Attempts to Kill’ Her

Convicted killer Jodi Arias revealed that she is selling patriotic art to commemorate the United States of America’s 250th birthday despite the government’s “attempts to kill” her.
Arias, 45, took to her Substack on Tuesday, June 30, to share her new business venture while she serves a life sentence at Arizona State Prison Complex – Perryville after she was found guilty of murdering her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.
“Sometimes, inspiration strikes when I’m in the middle of another project so it has to wait. Sometimes, I’ll push off my new idea for so long that the inspiration for it packs its bags and leaves,” she began in the post. “This doesn’t slow me down, though, because the muse presents me with an endless stream of more ideas than I’ll ever be able to create in one lifetime.”
She went on to say that sometimes an “art idea persists” even when put on the back burner.

I imagined having it all ready to go for the Fourth of July, but time got away from me. The holiday came and went and I decided to work on other things. The following year, the same thing happened,” Arias wrote. “This year, I finally did it, which worked out poetically because of the 250th anniversary of the United States. I named it Americana.”
Arias then shared a photo of the painting, which featured a brunette woman posing with an American flag draped around her shoulders as fireworks were set off behind her.
“While the beautiful woman I drew turned out looking a bit more like Melania’s cousin than a Hispanic woman, her dignified, resolute posture is everything I was going for when I first caught the vision of her,” Arias continued. “She appears strong, vibrant and resilient—all the things I imagine myself to be on a good day.”
Arias said that Americana, which was drawn on heavy-stock paper and is 11×14 inches, is available for purchase on JodiArias.com.
After she explained the logistics of how she made the artwork, Arias shared insight into her current views of the United States government.
“Despite my government’s multiple depraved attempts to kill me in years past, I’m not immune to warm patriotic feelings. Also, 250 years is something to be celebrated,” she wrote. “I’ve been immersed in the spirit of patriotism more this year because these vibes were repeatedly invoked during my tens of hours spent working on Americana.”

Brooks Nader Narrowly Avoids Wardrobe Malfunction While Going Braless in Plunging Dress on a Yacht

Brooks Nader’s sizzling hot style isn’t going anywhere — despite her frequent wardrobe malfunctions.
Nader, 28, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 30, to show off a risqué look while enjoying a yacht getaway. In the clip, which she filmed inside her bathroom, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model rocked a black dress featuring a plunging neckline that exposed her cleavage. The rest of her dress was complete with a halter neckline, an open back and sides that dipped so low her fans got a front row seat to her sideboob.
Nader was quick to adjust her dress while turning to the side, ensuring that she didn’t spill out of the number. One of her sisters then shoved Brooks out of the frame to get her moment in the spotlight, causing Brooks to grab the front of her dress to conceal herself. In true older sister fashion, Brooks pushed her right back.
The Love Thy Nader star accessorized her daring look with oversized black shades, a chunky cross necklace and matching earrings.

For glam, she donned sunkissed skin and glossy lips. She pulled her blonde hair back into an updo and gave the camera a pout.
This isn’t the first time Nader nearly had a nip slip. Last month, she ended up topless during Miami Swim Week while swimming in a little red dress featuring off-the-shoulder straps. She ended up sitting on a man’s shoulders, causing her strap to fall down her chest. Nader handled it like a pro, quickly covering up by placing her hand over her chest. She attempted to fix the dress, but the number, which was then drenched with water, clung to the model’s body.
Nader previously opened up to Us Weekly about her nip slips, laughing, “You said it, not me! This is true. I have been known to have a nip slip every now and then. That’s why it’s so shocking I’m getting this [Breakthrough Fashion Talent] award, but I’m honored.”

Add Page Six on GoogleQueen Camilla ignited anger for posting an Instagram pic with J.K. Rowling — given the timing and the author’s controversial trans views.
Taking to Instagram Tuesday, the wife of King Charles III shared a picture of herself and the “Harry Potter” author posing together at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland.
Camilla, 78, dressed in an all-blue outfit and stood side by side with Rowling, 60, who wore a white blazer over a navy blue blouse and trousers. The queen noted that the two had a “shared passion for books” and a “deep commitment” to children reading for pleasure.
“Her Majesty and Ms Rowling discussed the importance of ensuring that young people have access to books and the vital part reading plays in opening doors for future generations,” the caption read in part.

Critics took to the comments section to call out Camilla for posting a pic with Rowling during Pride Month — an observance every June to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) community — given Rowling’s public anti-trans views.
“As an admirer of the Queen and her Reading Room I’m deeply disappointed in her giving a platform to JKR, any month but especially during Pride Month,” one person wrote. “There are many other admirable individuals to spotlight who champion reading for children and young people.”
Another user commented, “During pride month, is a statement.”
“trans rights are human rights 🏳️⚧️❤️,” multiple others wrote.

One Instagram user even called the royal “deplorable.”
“AND During pride month no less 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 I stand with the LGBTQI+ community ✊🏼,” the user continued.
However, some defended Rowling, noting that she was entitled to her own opinions.
“There is a clear double standard when people with large platforms say things you agree with and are celebrated for it, but someone who expresses a different opinion is condemned and attacked,” one person argued in the comments section. “That kind of inconsistency comes across as biased.”
In October 2023, Rowling shared a photo on social media reading, “Repeat after us: Trans women are women,” with the caption, “No.” She said she would willingly go to jail for her views.
“I’ll happily do two years if the alternative is compelled speech and forced denial of the reality and importance of sex,” Rowling wrote.

The author has continued to speak out on trans rights, creating a rift between major “Harry Potter” stars like Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who have publicly denounced her views.
Last May, Rowling hit back in a scathing essay when multiple “Harry Potter” actors signed a pro-trans open letter after the UK Supreme Court ruled that the terms “woman” and “sex” refer strictly to a biological woman and biological sex.
She described the actors — among them being Eddie Redmayne, Paapa Essiedu and Katie Leung — as “back-stabbing colleagues” who she said are “motivated by fear.”

Actor John Lithgow — who’s playing Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore in the “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” HBO reboot — admitted in April that he was urged to stay away from the show due to Rowling’s controversial views, but ultimately decided not to.
“I do disagree with much of it. Much of it, I think, has been twisted and represented, and she has sort of doubled down on it at her own cost,” he told the New Yorker Radio Hour.
“I just felt the reasons to do it were much, much stronger than the reasons to protest against what Rowling has done and said.”
