Jennifer Garner shares tribute to ex Ben Affleck on Father's Day
Jennifer Garner publicly lauded ex Ben Affleck's parenting skills with a sweet message for Father's Day on Sunday.
Garner, 54, who shares three children with Affleck, 53, shared never-before-seen snaps of the Oscar winner doting on their kids and remembered her late father William.
She posted a photo of Affleck holding hands with their then toddler daughter Violet, now 20, and holding a baby Fin, now 17.
Another adorable photo showed Affleck dressed in his Batman costume on set while hugging their son Samuel, 14.
Garner wrote, 'My sisters and I loved to spoil our dad; he never wanted for fresh baked cookies or a bowl of ice cream.
'I see the way my kids dote on their dad and I’m happy for them. To love and be loved by a great dad is a gift.

'Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and to the kids of dads, too.'
The two stars have spent time together in recent months such as in April ahead of the Easter holiday and when they celebrated their son's birthday in late March during a paintball party.
The pair were previously married from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018.
A few months earlier, Garner opened up about raising their three children in separate households after their divorce.

She explained on Bustle's One Nightstand YouTube series that she tries to find a balance between 'conscientious upbringing' and 'appreciation.'
The star later added, 'Especially when your kids grow up in two separate households, I become mom and dad,' before noting that her ex does the same when their kids are with him.
'You kind of can't help it, right? Because you don't have the benefit of both sides of the yin and yang being in the same house.'
Garner further expressed, 'There's a little bit of loss in that, but there's also something gained in that. You also just learn. It's made me let go and not focus so much on bringing up.'

Affleck has also previously reflected on being a parent in the spotlight while talking to E! News earlier this year.
'You put something on your children when you have a public life and that's complicated.'
The star continued, 'We really want to give them room to figure out what they want to do.'
'I wouldn't push them into that. They're brilliant and lovely and wonderful and we love them and we're proud of them. And hope that they don't waste their life acting.'
Last month, Garner was seen stepping out with Violet and Samuel as they spent quality time together.
Violet, who recently returned to Los Angeles amid her summer break at Yale University, made the rare move of pulling off her face mask for the excursion.
Affleck was also married to Jennifer Lopez but the singer filed for divorce in 2024 on their second wedding anniversary; seen in 2023 in L.A.
The trio were spotted enjoying a tasty treat at Sweet Rose Creamery inside the Brentwood Country Mart.
The college student has been an advocate for wearing face masks after contracting a post-viral condition in 2019.
The next day following the ice cream outing, Violet and her famous mom were seen grabbing In-N-Out together.
Affleck was also previously married to Jennifer Lopez but the singer filed for divorce in 2024 on their second wedding anniversary.
Badenoch blasts 'moaning' female Labour MPs over Burnham jobs 'quota'
Kemi Badenoch has told Labour women to earn a job in Andy Burnham's Cabinet instead of demanding they are handed jobs because of their gender.
The Tory leader lashed out today amid reports that female MPs are demanding the de-facto new prime minister introduce a 50:50 gender split 'quota' in his government.
Amid reports that former foreign secretary David Miliband is being lined up to return to the role, possibly with his brother Ed as Chancellor, one female minister also complained that Burnham could not have 'more Milibands than women' in the top posts.
But in a scathing article in the Times today Mrs Badenoch told them to 'stop moaning' and get chosen on merit instead of retreating into 'more of the failed identity politics that is holding back our country'.
'There are many, many reasons why you shouldn't have any Milibands in the cabinet,' she said.
'But complaining that the boys haven't given them the right jobs or that the boys are taking all the jobs, just shows that Labour's women still don't get it.'
The idea of quotas was also attacked by Baroness Jacqui Smith, Labour's Skills Minister.
Asked by Times Radio if Mr Burnham should reserve jobs for women, she said: 'No, I think what Andy Burnham should be doing is building the very best team around him to change this country.'

A letter written by the Women's Parliamentary Labour Party and seen by the BBC has called on Mr Burnham to ensure a 50:50 split between men and women in government jobs after he succeeds Sir Keir Starmer.
'We are asking you to demonstrate this change from day one and address the toxicity and misogyny within our own party and government,' it said.
Labour has never had a female leader, while the Conservatives have had three, and Mrs Badenoch urged the government to follow its meritocratic example.
'If you run a meritocracy, then you do not have to worry about jobs for the boys,' she wrote.
'Every woman who is a Conservative MP, every woman who has ever won the leadership, has had to fight to get where she is.
'By contrast, Labour women are demanding guarantees from Burnham. But the truth is he doesn't have to give any guarantees.
'If none of Labour's women are prepared to get their hands dirty and challenge him for the leadership, their demands are toothless.'
'In fact, it's quite revealing that the women's parliamentary Labour Party has written to Burnham asking him to commit himself to at least 50 per cent female ministers.
'This has nothing to do with meritocracy. It is yet more of the failed identity politics that is holding back our country.'
