Illegal Alien Charged In Attempted Abduction Had Been Released By Soros-Backed DA Now Under Investigation

The suspect, Nicaraguan national Moises Domingo Rico Rosales, allegedly exposed himself to a woman at a park earlyer this month before trying to abduct another woman that same day, DHS said in a statement. (RELATED: Biden-Appointed Judge Blocks Key Part Of Trump’s Immigration Policy)
Fairfax County police announced on June 21 that a suspect, later identified as Rosales, had exposed his genitals to a woman while she was walking on a park trail. While officers were responding to that call at around 1:40 p.m. local time, another woman was allegedly stopped on her bicycle by the same man, who then tried to drag her into the woods before fleeing the scene.
Rosales was “released” into the U.S. by former President Joe Biden’s administration in 2022 before being released by Fairfax County leaders after being apprehended on drug trafficking charges in 2024, according to DHS.

Local watchdog Virginians for Safe Communities reported Tuesday that although Rosales was charged with attempted robbery on July 4, 2025, the charge was amended to disorderly conduct before being dismissed through a deferred disposition plea deal.
Rosales was also charged with distributing narcotics in July 2024, but those charges were also dismissed by Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano.
Descano, who became Fairfax County commonwealth’s attorney in 2020, received more than $600,000 from a PAC funded by leftist megadonor George Soros, according to the Virginia Public Access Project. In May, the Department of Justice launched a probe into whether Descano’s office gave preferential treatment to illegal alien criminal defendants and discriminated against American citizens.
Specifically, the investigation aims to determine whether the office’s Plea Bargaining, Charging Decisions, and Sentencing Policy violated the law by directing assistant commonwealth’s attorneys to “consider” the “immigration consequences” of how they prosecute crimes. Defenders of the policy note that it stipulates that such considerations should not be “outcome determinative.”
During a House Judiciary Committee hearing May 14 titled “Fairfax County, Virginia: The Dangerous Consequences of Sanctuary Policies,” Descano said his office “does not provide sanctuary or safe harbor to undocumented immigrants” and that suggesting otherwise promotes a false narrative.
Three-quarters of murder investigations in Fairfax identified illegal aliens as primary suspects, DHS said in early April.
Hoping to avoid a continuation of this pattern, DHS told 7News on Wednesday that it had issued a detainer for Rosales, noting that the county chose to ignore a previous detainer issued after his 2024 drug trafficking arrest.
Rosales was also found guilty of driving without a license in Fairfax County in 2024 before being released and was cited for reckless driving in the county in 2025, 7News reported.

Most recently, Rosales was found guilty of public intoxication and driving without a license in January before being released and ordered to pay a fine, according to 7News.
DHS also told 7News that Rosales was initially apprehended while entering the U.S. in Arizona before being released into the country by the Biden administration.
“[Democratic Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger] and Virginia sanctuary politicians must NOT release this PREDATOR and [should] turn him over to [Immigration and Customs Enforcement],” DHS said in its statement.
A spokesperson for Descano’s office told the Caller that although they will not share the specifics regarding Rosales‘ past arrests to avoid jeopardizing ongoing prosecutions or investigations, she said there are “many reasons that the outcome of a case may differ from the initial charges.” (RELATED: Radical Judge Shuts Down Trump Admin Database Used To Remove Non-Citizens From Voter Rolls)
“Some right-wing activists may attempt to retrofit political motives onto certain case outcomes or claim that prosecutors have the perfect ability to predict and avert future crimes,” the spokesperson added. “Their own motivations are transparent, bad-faith, and serve only to spread misinformation about the complexities of modern prosecution and the specifics of Fairfax courts.”
Badenoch blasts 'moaning' female Labour MPs over Burnham jobs 'quota'
Kemi Badenoch has told Labour women to earn a job in Andy Burnham's Cabinet instead of demanding they are handed jobs because of their gender.
The Tory leader lashed out today amid reports that female MPs are demanding the de-facto new prime minister introduce a 50:50 gender split 'quota' in his government.
Amid reports that former foreign secretary David Miliband is being lined up to return to the role, possibly with his brother Ed as Chancellor, one female minister also complained that Burnham could not have 'more Milibands than women' in the top posts.
But in a scathing article in the Times today Mrs Badenoch told them to 'stop moaning' and get chosen on merit instead of retreating into 'more of the failed identity politics that is holding back our country'.
'There are many, many reasons why you shouldn't have any Milibands in the cabinet,' she said.
'But complaining that the boys haven't given them the right jobs or that the boys are taking all the jobs, just shows that Labour's women still don't get it.'
The idea of quotas was also attacked by Baroness Jacqui Smith, Labour's Skills Minister.
Asked by Times Radio if Mr Burnham should reserve jobs for women, she said: 'No, I think what Andy Burnham should be doing is building the very best team around him to change this country.'

A letter written by the Women's Parliamentary Labour Party and seen by the BBC has called on Mr Burnham to ensure a 50:50 split between men and women in government jobs after he succeeds Sir Keir Starmer.
'We are asking you to demonstrate this change from day one and address the toxicity and misogyny within our own party and government,' it said.
Labour has never had a female leader, while the Conservatives have had three, and Mrs Badenoch urged the government to follow its meritocratic example.
'If you run a meritocracy, then you do not have to worry about jobs for the boys,' she wrote.
'Every woman who is a Conservative MP, every woman who has ever won the leadership, has had to fight to get where she is.
'By contrast, Labour women are demanding guarantees from Burnham. But the truth is he doesn't have to give any guarantees.
'If none of Labour's women are prepared to get their hands dirty and challenge him for the leadership, their demands are toothless.'
'In fact, it's quite revealing that the women's parliamentary Labour Party has written to Burnham asking him to commit himself to at least 50 per cent female ministers.
'This has nothing to do with meritocracy. It is yet more of the failed identity politics that is holding back our country.'
