He must be mature enough Enough for the Warriors to select him, but I like this.

I'll be honest, in watching college basketball, I mean, what a fun player to watch Yeah a player that can do a little bit of everything, that can knock down threes, comes down in transition like a freight train that you do not wanna take a charge on.

So many conversations about the relationship with his mom and, and the emotion that she brought into his game.

And then I even think about in the Final Four, the, the amount of injuries Oh, man that he battled in those last two Final Four games, but still managed to get Michigan a championship.

I think it's a lot of heart and character out of this young man, and hopefully the maturity then comes And, and that's the thing, Ice.

Like, I think people talk about sometimes the, the, the negative aspects with him, but like a- actions speak loudly.

And whe- when he was hurt in the moment where, like, he could have suffered a major injury and ruined- his draft stock, he was out there fighting- Yeah and playing hard for his team.

This is a guy who started out his career with JUCO, a JUCO team.

Then he transferred- Yeah to UAB, played there, shined, became an absolute rebound machine playing the five a lot of the time for them.

Yeah.

And then he goes to Michigan, and he's playing on the wing, a brand-new role that he had to grow into over the course of the season, and he became a critical piece to a national championship team.

And I think now for the Warriors, he could be an absolute Swiss Army knife in the same way- Yes that he was- Yeah for the Wolverines.

Yes.

Doesn't he fit exactly what Golden State is missing when it comes to, like, trying to win and trying to compete- Yes moving forward still with Steph and Draymond?

He, he likes to move the ball, too, and he plays in that- Yes pro system in Michigan.

Yes.

And man, Steve Kerr might not like the theatrics off the floor, but he's gonna love the way this guy plays basketball.

3.9 assists every 40 minutes- Yeah from a forward, a big like that who's able to do so much on your team.

But we know that Steve Kerr, with Stephen Curry on the team, he wants to have guys who can get him the rock and play off-ball in ways that maybe other guys who like to have the ball in their hands He is a guy, Yaxil, who is gonna wanna move the ball and play in the system.

Yeah.

And he's a winner.

You know, I, I got a chance to call one of his games when he was at UAB Like, before he got on the scene, before he blew up.

I was in amazement watching what I was watching.

Really?

And Andy Kennedy, AK, told me before the game, he said, "King, it's one of 'em.

This is one of the, those dudes."

And I was r- going through my notes, and I was watching this film, and I was like, "Yeah, he's good, but maybe not, maybe not like that," right?
