A great-grandmother has been banned from every Sainsbury’s and Argos store in the UK for one shocking reason. Rita Seymour, 79, is no longer allowed to visit any of the 1,500 stores after being accused of “abusive and inappropriate behaviour”. The pensioner claims she has been falsely accused and that the treatment towards her is a case of “bullying”.

Mrs Seymour from Hook, Hampshire was accused of abusing stuff on multiple occasions, including during an altercation whilst she was buying a EuroMillions ticket.

The 79-year-old, who is a grandmother of four and a great-grandmother of two, requested to purchase lottery tickets multiple times after completing her grocery shop. A staff member told their colleague over the headset that Mrs Seymour had been rude to them.

The pensioner admitted to knocking a body-worn camera out of the sales assistant’s hand, as they attempted to activate it, but was left shocked at what would come next.

The following day, she received a letter saying that her invitation to shop at Sainsbury’s and Argos stores, and use their car parks and petrol had been “permanently withdrawn”.

She told Metro that she had been “bullied” and described the treatment as disgraceful and claimed that the situation had been blown of out of proportion.
