A former royal aide has said he is “livid” about how one royal was portrayed in the Netflix series The Crown. While Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton is best-known for having been a former royal aide for Prince William and Prince Harry, he also once worked closely with The Queen Mother.

This is because he served as the Queen Mother’s equerry, which involved spending a lot of time with her. This included making her martinis and having lunch with her. He ended up having such a good relationship with Queen Elizabeth II’s mother that he even had his honeymoon at her home the Castle of Mey, where they were hosted by the royal.
