Curaçao has written a historic page in its football history. The 0-0 draw against Ecuador earned the Caribbean national team its first-ever point in a World Cup. The draw, however, changes little for either side. Ecuador and Curaçao had both lost their opening group match and will now need a huge result on the final matchday, against Germany and Ivory Coast respectively.
