Red Sox-Yankees four-game set, the finale of which was on Sunday Night Baseball.

Jordan, does this result meaningfully change the way that you think about the 2026 Boston Red Sox?

Like, is this a spark?

Is this a catalyst?

Or is this a blip?

In terms of the wildcard spot, there are five teams ahead of them still, even before you get to that third wildcard spot.

So a lot of competition to jump.

I think what was so encouraging about this series is how it happened, right?

I mean, we've been talking about Connolly Early and Peyton Tully, and both of those guys were terrific.

Peyton Tully, I think, had a perfect game through five or six innings on Friday.

He was tremendous.

And then Jake Bennett, another guy who we've seen a little bit of in the big leagues, and I don't know if he's necessarily guaranteed going to be in the rotation for the rest of the season, but he was better than Garrett Cole on Saturday.

They got another big swing from Wilson Contreras.

Caleb Durbin continues to actually hit.
